Join us in welcoming Addie Hutchison to the Coos Bay School District Board of Directors.
On Tuesday, voters in Coos Bay elected Hutchison to the seat being vacated by Dustin Clarke. Hutchison won the Position 7 seat with 1,759 to 1,116 for Jim Kingsley.
Incumbents Kimberly Brick and Kevin Dubisar earned additional terms after running unopposed.
Hutchison moved to Coos Bay six years ago from Amherst, New Hampshire after she retired. Hutchison served on a school board in Amherst for 14 years, and she currently serves on the Budget Committee for the Coos Bay School Board. Before retirement, she worked as a human rights investigator for the State of New Hampshire.
Hutchison will be seated after the school board canvasses the election at its June meeting.
