Principal's Message

I am very excited to begin our 2019-2020 school year here at Millicoma!
Millicoma is a very special place in our community and I have witnessed in an extremely short period of the time the caring nature of our staff and parents when it comes to the success of our kids. As an administrator, I want to continue building a culture at Millicoma where students, parents, and staff walk through the door every morning ready to work together as a team, create connections with each other, and promote learning at a high level.
Since my arrival at Coos Bay in June, my family and I have been welcomed with open arms and we are so happy to be back in the area. In the past 18 years that I lived in the Willamette Valley, I have come to realize how valuable my experiences were in Coos Bay Schools and that those experiences have shaped the person that I have become. I look forward to working with our staff, parents, and community members to build a family atmosphere that will lead to a passion for lifelong learning.
