Welcome Back, Millicoma Families!
Dear Millicoma Families:
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I hope your summer provided time to rest, recharge, and make lasting memories with family and friends. We are excited to welcome our students back to Millicoma Intermediate School for a year filled with learning, growth, connection, and Mustang pride.
As I begin my first full school year as principal, I am honored to serve this incredible school community. Since joining Millicoma, I have been inspired by the dedication of our staff, the support of our families, and the energy and potential of our students. I look forward to building strong relationships and working together to make this an exceptional year for every student.
At Millicoma, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where every student feels supported, challenged, and valued. Intermediate school is an important time of growth and discovery. Our staff is ready to help students strengthen their academic skills, build confidence, develop positive relationships, and become increasingly responsible and independent learners.
Families are essential partners in this work. We encourage you to remain connected throughout the year by communicating with teachers, participating in school events, and regularly talking with your child about their experiences at school. When families and schools work together, students have the strongest opportunity to succeed.
The year ahead will bring meaningful learning, exciting activities, new friendships, and many opportunities to celebrate our students. I am eager to see all that our Mustangs will accomplish.
Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being an important part of the Millicoma community. Let us make the 2026–2027 school year one filled with growth, kindness, achievement, and Mustang pride.
Sincerely,
Chris Pendleton
Principal, Millicoma Intermediate School
